Coed Division 1:
Flying Squirrels (1) vs D Experience (4)
Team Bacon Wave (2) vs Assassins Legends (3)
Team Bacon Wave finishes second after defeating the Assassins Legends in the highest combined score in Coed history 49-47!

Coed Division 2:
Road Rockets (1) vs El Beavador (4)
Dramatic Chipmunks (2) vs Clam Diggers (3)
A three-way tie from 1st to 3rd between the 2-3 records of Clam Diggers, Road Rockets and Dramatic Chipmunks. Just one of many multi-team ties in the standings which definitely demonstrates the parity of all of our divisions! Clam Diggers lost both games to the Rockets and Chipmunks and were therefore relegated to third. Since the remaining two teams had not played one another in the regular season and there was an unbalanced schedule the tiebreaker came down to plus/minus against common opponents. Road Rockets take first by a single point! (+5 vs +4).

Masters Division:
Hammond Pros (1) vs Rochester Jeffersons (4)
Decatur Staleys (2) vs Portsmouth Spartans (3)
Hammond Pros take 1st place in the 1st ever Masters Division by defeating the Decatur Staleys in the regular season.

Elite:
Iced Earth (1) bye
Alliance (2) vs Guild of Calamitous Intent (3)

Division 1:
The Horde (1) vs U Can’t Touch This (4)
Team No Sleep (2) vs Dream Teamin’ Aint Easy (3)
The Horde finishes first in Div 1 via their head-to-head victory over Team No Sleep in the regular season. UCCT takes the fourth spot over The Blouses via our third tiebreaker in an unbalanced schedule. Since the two teams hadn’t played each other we went to plus/minus against common opponents. UCCT finished at -72 whereas the Blouses were -106.

Division 2:
Bedtime for Democracy (1) vs Levels (4)
Gwizicanes (2) vs Brewers (3)
There was a three-way tie at 3-2 between the Levels, Gwizicanes and Brewers. The Levels lost both regular season games to Gwizicanes and Brewers and were thus relegated to 4th place. Once that tiebreaker was settled, the tiebreaker scenarios reset and Gwizicanes finish second by virtue of their regular season victory over the Brewers.

Division 3:
You Can’t Coach That (1) vs Team RVC (4)
Football Junkies (2) vs Chiva Rebels (3)
Yet another three-way tie for 3rd through 5th, between Team RVC, Chiva Rebels and Slobberknockers, with one team unfortunately not making the playoffs…and that team was the Slobberknockers as they lost both regular season games to the Chiva Rebels and Team RVC. Chiva Rebels get second place due to their regular season victory over Team RVC.

Division 4:
Money Balls (1) vs Million Dollar Wound (4)
Winnipeg Beeray (2) vs New World Order (3)
Well instead of having a three-way tie, we actually had a four-way tie between the remaining teams! Two teams make playoffs and two will be on the outside looking in. Since nothing was decided via head-to-head, head-to-head plus/minus was used. That too ended in a tie with both n.W.o and Million Dollar Wound finishing at +8 (followed by Flying Hellfish at -6 and Filthy Few at -10). To decide who would get third we looked at head to head and n.W.o defeated the Wound by one point! Once that tiebreaker was eliminated we reverted back to the original tiebreaker which was head-to-head and Million Dollar Wound defeated both the Flying Hellfish and the Filthy Few giving them the final playoff spot. Crazy, crazy division!

Division 5:
Monstars (1) vs U.S.O (4)
Tribe 2.0 (2) vs Nemesis (3)
What no tiebreakers? Thanks Div 5 for making my life easier unlike damn division 4!

Division 6:
Top Gear (1) vs Cannonball (4)
The Mongolian Village Destroyers (2) vs Dogg Pound (3)
Top Gear finishes first place due to their regular season victory over MVD.

Division 7:
Meat’s Pizzeria (1) vs The Squad (4)
Barracudas (2) vs Getting it in the Endzone (3)
Here we go again with another three-way tie for the final two playoff spots. Misery is eliminated as they lost to both Getting it in the Endzone and the Squad. Getting it in the Endzone gets third place due to their regular season head-to-head victory over the Squad.

Division 8:
Not to Sure (1) vs Ice Dogs 2.0 (4)
Nomads (2) vs Deadliest Catch (3)
Not to Sure finished first by defeating the Nomads in the regular season, Deadliest Catch finishes third by defeating Ice Dogs in the regular season.

Division 9:
Ripping and Tearing (1) vs GC Elite (4)
Dammit Donald (2) vs Yolmes (3)
Ripping and Tearing defeated Dammit Donald in regular season play to finish first in the division.

Division 10:
The D (1) vs Rolling 7s (4)
Dredd Zone (2) vs Mudhogs (3)
Another four-way tie, this time for spots first through fourth (it seems we are getting really good and making divisions!) Dredd Zone, The D, Mudhogs, and Rolling 7s all finished the season with identical 3-2 records. Since nothing was decided via head-to-head we went to head-to-head plus minus with the D finishing first with a +18 +/- (Dredd Zone +6, Mudhogs -4, Rolling 7s -13). The tiebreaker reverts back to step one but once again nothing was decided with head-to-head so plus/minus was used once more with The D removed from the equation (since they are already through to the playoffs). With that completed, Dredd Zone is victorious with a +/- of +14 (Rolling 7s -6, Mudhogs -8). Once again we revert the tiebreaker back to head-to-head and this time Mudhogs finish third via their victory over the Rolling 7s who will take the final playoff spot!!!!!!!!!

Remember only games that have both opponents can be entered onto the PIT's schedule for the playoffs that occur this Saturday March 29th. Games that occur on Friday will determine the remaining match-ups and many will occur this Saturday, so team captains need to use the playoff markers along with the regular schedule. You have been warned...

A reminder that playoffs begin this coming saturday. For players to be eligible for playoffs they must have played in a minimum to two games. We are removing players who haven't met the minimum criteria for games played so that if someone doesn't show up on the game card they are are not eligible to play! Anyone playing with ineligible players will automatically forfeit the game. I have already removed all players from Coed to Division 10 who did not meet the eligibility requirements and Scott will be going through the remaining divisions before Saturdays games.

We are also still getting emails regarding when playoffs start, despite all the league emails and forum postings it appears some people are slipping through the cracks. Here is a link to the playoff schedule for those who haven't seen it: http://www.pitfootball.com/seasons/1194-winter-indoor-2014/games
