Just a heads up that Spring registration begins tonight at midnight. Registration deadline is March 29th, and like every Spring, we have very limited spots available so getting in registration early is your only guarantee of playing in the Spring.
If you look at our past winners in outdoor a huge segment of those champions played in the Spring session gaining a competitive advantage and those teams were able to hit the ground running come Summer. In addition, it would appear our Winter will never end so why not get a few more games on the turf.
New this year, not only will we have our regular PRIME TIME SPOTS available to play but we have listened to our membership and will continue to offer later time slots for those who work later on the evenings. This will be the first time teams will be able to choose earlier or later time slots so we hope this satisfies demand for everyone.
DODGEBALL:
Due to the huge growth of the game and successful tournament and all-star game we will also be running a dodgeball league in the Spring. There will be three levels of skill offered: men's competitive, mens recreational, and coed. Their will be very limited time slots available here as well so both dodgeball and touch football will be capped at fairly small numbers. The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its fifth season of Spring indoor football. The largest and fastest growing touch football league in Canada will be offering a record 12 divisions of skill from elite to beginner. Back by popular demand we will be returning both the coed division and the Master's Division (eligibility requirement being 40+ years of age) in the Spring...all during prime time hours!
As our membership has come to expect the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!
Spring 2014 Indoor Season Information:
Season Starts: Sunday, April 6th
Season Ends: Saturday, May 10th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays (Sundays of long weekends) beginning as early as 6:30pm.
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games; each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Noon Saturday March 29th (but will almost assuredly sell out much earlier!)
Cost: $685 (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Teams may schedule off any weekends with the exception of playoffs
The PIT only has limited spots available for the Spring so early registration is imperative!

Looks like we have our front runner for best (and most costly if we have to engrave a trophy with it) name of the Spring session with "Great White Hype Minus Kantot, Bastos, & 2 Past 2 Purious, but plus Cam & Al's Brother Terry".
Spring session is almost at 50% capacity already and we are only four days in (we told you there were very limited spots!). Looks like Spring could sell out at the same record pace as the Fall and Winter seasons. Click here to see how the Spring is shaping up: http://www.pitfootball.com/divisions

The PIT has set another registration record with 44 teams already registered on the site for the Spring, the most ever for our Spring season in the first seven days. The league currently has room for 66 teams during Spring league which means we are exactly 2/3rds full already. Teams looking to sign up for the Spring should get themselves on the site quickly as the league looks to once again sell out prior to the deadline date of March 29th.
We have added a free agent team to the spring for players looking to play indoor but do not have a team. Feel free to sign up on the team currently in Division 7. All skill levels welcome, we will place the team in an appropriate division once we have a roster set.
DODGEBALL:
The first session of dodgeball is now 20% full. Get in for a very low introductory price of $495 for 12 games! Get more information at www.pitdodgeball.com
We have added a free agent team to the spring for players looking to try out dodgeball but do not have a team. Feel free to sign up on the team currently registered in the rec division. All skill levels welcome, we will place the team in an appropriate division once we have a roster set.

FOOTBALL:
The PIT now was 64 teams registered for Spring which means we are already at 97% capacity. Teams should start to get their registration money in asap as it will be first come first accommodated. New teams can still register as it will be the first 66 teams who pay who will get into the Spring league. All skill levels available. Hit the ground running for summer (whenever it gets here).
DODGEBALL:
Dodgeball is now at 50% capacity. Only 8 more teams until we close registration. 12 games for the low introductory price of $495. You can't beat that deal!

The PIT is now officially over capacity with 72 teams signed up on the site and only 66 spots available. The first 66 teams who have paid will be in and unfortunately at least six current teams will have to wait until the summer season to get in on the action! Teams are strongly encouraged to get payment in ASAP or risk missing out. New teams can still register but you will want to get your registration fees in quick as it will be first come first served. The deadline for registration is technically March 29th at noon but we will be sold out long before that!

Only limited spots available. Registration closes on Saturday at noon and as such teams should make arrangements for payment to ensure they get into the Spring session. 76 teams are currently registered on the website with only 66 spots available (with most of those spots now paid for). New teams of all skill levels are still welcome to sign up...you would just need to get your payment in asap!
