Boston Pizza is once again on board for the Winter season to hand out Boston Brute Awards for the Saturday Night Players of the Week. Each POW will receive a personal pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza.

Without further adieu congrats to James "The Thrill" Lylyk of the Herniated Goat Scrotes who scored his way to the first Boston Brute POW award. James scored 14 points in the Goats 39-13 victory over the Goal Line Guardians. It wasn't necessarily the 14 points that broke open the game to garner the player of the week but the manner in which those points were accrued. Mr. Lylyk had not one but two one handed stabs for TDs including a 3rd and 10 hook and go over the shoulder one hander that had the crowd on its feet.

The question remains, can James keep up the pace? Well questions are for nerds.

Congrats on a stellar week 1 James, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts.

Randal Bonneteau leads Hooked on Phonics to victory in their first game on the Winter Indoor season and receives the Boston Pizza POW award to boot!

Randal threw three of his touchdown passes to Rodney "Pass me the ball McKernan I swear I can catch" Patterson and one to Dennis Dufour in a victory that serves notice to other teams in the division that they better brush up on their defensive reading skills or risk being taught a tough football grammar lesson. Perhaps we will be calling Mr. Bonneteau "Randal Football" soon enough.

Congrats Randal, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts.

Ryan Budhoo of Dream Teamin aint easy is our 3rd Saturday Night POW award winner.

Ryan had 14 points in his PIT debut as the upstarts from Dream Teamin defeated another first year team The Blouses. The Elite/1 division is stacked this season with teams and future stars and its only fitting that one of those future stars gets the Player of the Week. Ryan's hands are so soft that he would give these guys a run for their money!

Congrats Ryan, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts.

James Craig of the D wins the fourth installment of the Boston Pizza POW award.

James had two touchdowns in The D's 30-26 loss to the Mudhogs. Division ten is shaping up to be the most competitive division in the PIT where four teams are currently tied at 1-1. Every point is going to count down the stretch and James's two touchdowns kept him atop the division 10 points leader board.

With that kind of play it makes you wonder what three Pokemon James would bring to battle during The D's next game.

Congrats James, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts.

Turtle races to the Boston Pizza Player of the Week Award

Congrats to Jason Gill who becomes the newest member of the Boston Pizza POW award winners. Jason threw six touchdowns and added an interception in a thrilling 39-38 game versus Winter is Coming. While the Ninja Turtles were unfortunately on the losing end of this game the offensive onslaught displayed bodes well for this group of newcomers.

Jason currently sits second in Division 15 in touchdown passes. We might as well sign him up for the PIT Perfect QB trick shot competition.

Congrats Jason, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts.

Steve Nabess of Return of the Rhino's Featuring Darren Bishop and Ice Dogs 2.0 becomes the 6th winner of the Boston Pizza POW award.

Steve scored 26 points in the Ice Dogs 46-25 victory over NFL Dynasty and followed that up with 14 points and an interception on the last play of the game to solidify a narrow victory for the Rhinos over the Bro Code 28-26. Both victories represented the first win for Steve's respective teams keeping them both in the playoff hunt.

We all know that Steve holds the all-time interception record but at this pace he might be adding a scoring title or two to his resume. Steve's 40 points weren't the garden variety as he put on a one-handed catching display for the ages. A few of those catches can be seen here:

Congrats Steve, you will receive a free personal pizza from Boston Pizza for your efforts...which I am sure you will eat one-handed.

HA! As someone who has watched Nabess do that on teams I have been on for years I can attest that is really how he catches best! He rarely drops a one hander but they need to be thrown at 8 feet high or so... try defending that! Nice work Nabess.

David Loughery of Gotta Catch 'em all is the 7th winner of the Saturday Night Boston Pizza POW award.

David had two interceptions and a pick six for the Pokemon aficionados in a 32-12 defeat to the Nomads on Saturday in a game that was closer than the score would indicate. The two picks both served to give Old Man Dyck nightmares for a couple of nights as well as push David into a tie for 6th in the division for interceptions.

Question: How high do you have to be to understand what the f#ck is going on in this trailer?
Answer: A lot...but you will probably want to catch them all if you are.

Congrats David on your achievement and Pokemon high score. Enjoy your pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza.

Jordan Jones scored two touchdowns including the game winner for Maclin on Your Girl last Saturday. The two touchdown receptions from David Thompson ensured that the final week of the season for Maclin meant something and won Jordan the newest Boston Pizza Player of the Week Award.

The win was the first of the season for Maclin but moved them into a tie with the Scoregasms and only two points back of both The D and the Mudhogs in a tightly contested Division 10 where all teams are still in the playoff hunt.

The PIT has been keeping close tabs on Mr. Jones and here are some of the highlights we have accumulated over the past few seasons.

Congrats Jordan. Enjoy your pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza.

Kathryn Huebner of the Flying Squirrels finished the D Experience last weekend scoring a touchdown and grabbing an interception in a win that sent the Squirrels to the climax that is the coed final. Unfortunately for the D Experience they blew their load early in the game and their lack of stamina led to them being friend zoned for the remainder of the season.

The D experience will have resort to their old ways to get a rise. Hopefully Tech Support can be more helpful to the cause than Kathryn was!

Congrats Kathryn. Enjoy your pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza.
