The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its sixth season of Winter indoor football. The largest and fastest growing touch football league in Canada will be offering a record 24 divisions of skill from elite to beginner. Back by popular demand we will be returning the coed division. New to Winter ball is the Master's Division (eligibility requirement being 40+ years of age) and non-contact flag football. As our membership has come to expect, the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!
Winter 2014 Indoor Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday, January 3rd
Season Ends: Saturday, April 5th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays 10:15pm
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games; each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Noon Saturday December 28th (but will almost assuredly sell out much earlier!)
Cost: $675 (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Teams may schedule off any weekends with the exception of playoffs
The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash, certified cheque, and interac e-transfers accepted. Cheques are payable to PIT FOOTBALL CORP. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! However, due to the limited supply of available fields we will be capping the number of teams in the Winter league. Although the registration deadline for the Winter season is Saturday December 28th, teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. The Winter season has sold out each year since our first season and we will assuredly be sold out once again prior to the deadline date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.

Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested for the Fall league. A record 48 teams have registered for the Winter Indoor Season in the first 24 hours of registration! Already over a third of spots available for the season have been spoken for. The PIT has the best membership in recreational sports and its great to see that demand continues to increase for football in the city.

100 registered teams as of Sunday, the fastest the PIT has ever reached that milestone. While 40 spots still remain they will go quickly so team captains are reminded to get their teams signed up. You don't want to fail your team and get left out in the cold for the winter. The last person who failed to register their team on time had this happen to them!
