Here is a breakdown for how each of the divisions will play out come playoffs:
Elite: Guild of Calamitous Intent vs Alliance
Division 1: Walking Dead vs Winner of Division 2
Division 2/3: The Division will be split for playoffs where either the top three or top four teams will play in Division 2 with the remaining battling it out for Division 3. A decision will be made later in the season to see if there is a more equitable split based on how the standings are playing out. If it looks like the top three teams are separating themselves from the pack we will go top three for Division 2, if not it will be top four. The remaining teams will be relegated to Division 3. All teams in the current Division 2/3 will make playoffs and the winner of Division 2 will also get the opportunity to play for the Division 1 title.
Divisions 4 through 18: Top four teams make playoffs.

Many questions regarding playoffs so here is a bit of rundown:
Playoffs will start as early as Saturday December 14th however the majority of semi-finals will go Friday December 20th.
Finals will run for most divisions Saturday December 21st.
Many teams have begun to request no Saturday December 21st games but that will be next to impossible to accommodate as we are trying to run all semi-finals on the 20th and finals on the 21st. Teams that are requesting no 21st would force all teams in the division into double-headers for playoffs which can make things both unfair and a nightmare for scheduling due to players who play on multiple teams. The more double headers on Friday also means forcing teams to play double headers on the last night to get games the games in. Thus there is a huge domino effect for other teams when such requests are granted.
As a consequence all teams should be prepared to play their championship games on Saturday December 21st and begin playoffs as early as December 14th.
The playoff schedule will most likely be released December 1st.
