Boston Pizza is back as a PIT sponsor and they are offering up a free personal pizza to each Saturday night player of the week (POW) for the duration of the Fall indoor season!

Our first Saturday POW is Cody Thompson of Aliens who threw for a touchdown and had an interception during the first weekend of play. This group of ex-Doogans has reformed under the guise of the greatest movie in history (if you haven't seen it you must do so now!). Will they become the greatest team in PIT history? Only time will tell. But if they are going to be the best they better have a system.

Otherwise its game over.

Congrats to Seth, the Boston Pizza POW award will be attached to a future game card.

Matt Trump of the Demon Llamas is the second recipient of the Saturday Night Boston Pizza POW award.

Matt scored the Llamas sole point in a 19-1 loss, but it was his defensive play that earned him the nod as he went all demonic on Medical Whiskey taking down three interceptions along the way. Tough start to the Fall season thus far for the Llamas but don't ever tell them they have peaked...or they will peak so hard that everyone in the PIT is going to feel it!

Congrats to Matt, the Boston Pizza POW award will be attached to a future game card.

We have a double dose of player of the week award winners this week as both Steve Scott and Damien "English" Hunter take home Saturday's POW.

Steve Scott led the Goal Line Guardians to their first victory of the season throwing three TD passes to three different receivers whereas Damien had a touchdown and two interceptions for Medical Whiskey. Damien is currently tied for 6th in Division 18 for interceptions and Steve is tied for 3rd in touchdown passes.

Congratulations gentlemen on your fine performances last weekend and both of you will have your gift certificates attached to a future game card. Two POW award winners? This might be the best idea since Kitten Mittens!

Trevor Martin of The Implication becomes the 4th Boston Pizza POW award winner.

Trevor had three touchdown passes and multiple rushing first downs in the Implications's 20-13 victory over Old Skool. Trevor hit three different receivers: Josh Czech, Troy Lafond, Scott Redfern in the victory and moved into fourth place in in touchdown passes for the division in the process.

The Implication? One POW Award.

Congrats Marc, the Boston Pizza POW award will be attached to a future game card.

The 5th Boston Pizza Saturday Night POW award winner goes to Mark Ridd of the Fighting Hellfish/I'm Just...Saiyan/You Can't Coach That. Two straight weeks of Mark(c)s winning POW awards, coincidence???

THE Mark Ridd scored 45 points and had a sack and an interception during his three games on Saturday Night. For the Hellfish Mark had 12 points in victory versus the Y Nots, 20 points a sack and a pick in a win over over Bo$$, and 13 points in his only loss of the night against the Guild of Calamitous Intent (technically Mark is on that team too so he still kinda won). In the loss he did break one of the Guild's corners knees and ankles on a sideline move that had the entire crowd on their feet.

Mark is in only his third season of touch football but already becoming a dominant touch football force which should get him far...cause nerds get no where in life.

Congrats Mark, the Boston Pizza POW award will be attached to a future game card.

The Week 6 Boston Pizza POW award goes to Andrew George of the Vikings.

Andrew threw two touchdowns and had a sack in a narrow defeat to Can't Touch This on Saturday night. Currently Andrew sits 4th in division nine in touchdown passes and the sack puts him into the top ten for QB kills as well.

That kind of play deserves a Boston Pizza POW award which will be attached to a future game card. Unfortunately BPs doesn't serve any milksteak.

Dave Gerrits of Butt Chugg is the Week 7 Boston Pizza POW award winner.

Dave had three touchdown passes and a sack in Butt Chugg's narrow defeat to NFL Dynasty Saturday Night. Dave is currently 6th in division seven in touchdown passes, is one of two QBs in the division to register a sack, and is living the dream!

He also purportedly takes very good care of his sister!

Congratulations Dave, the Boston Pizza POW award will be attached to a future game card.

Week 8 brings some Thunder to the Boston Pizza POW award!

Derrick Moszynski had 18 points for Nice Thunder in their game versus the Nomads on Saturday. In a game with huge playoff implications Derrick game up even huger?!? and ran roughshod over the Nomads. While the Thunder finished just outside the playoff hunt Derrick brought is A game to the division finishing 5th overall in scoring.

A nice explosion for the nice thunder player.

Congratulations Derrick, the Boston Pizza POW award will be on its way shortly!
