Congratulations to all of the Winnipeg Teams who made it a clean sweep in taking each of the Divisions in Regina this year.

Elite: Iced Earth
After being stunned in the round robin losing to the Regina Rage, Iced Earth regrouped to win an entertaining championship game over Megalomania by two points. In the end Iced Earth capitalized after a two-point covert attempt was flat-out dropped by a megalo receiver late in the game.

Intermediate: Rebels
The Rebels were also upset in the round robin and were a little shaky during Saturday play. That all changed on Sunday when the Rebels put on a clinic knocking off Winnipeg's Remember the Titans in the semis and then dismantling the Regina Warriors in the final. With the score 30-0 five minutes into the second quarter the Warriors conceded defeat and the game was called. Jamie "10 touchdowns" Bouvier was named MVP.

Women's: Victorious Secret
I didn't see the game but heard that it was a back and forth affair with the Secret pulling out a one-point victory to add to what I believe is their third (or fourth) straight Labour Day title.

Congrats to all the Winnipeg teams and kudos the the Regina tournament event organizers who once again put on a great tournament with plenty of parity in the divisions.
