With all of the rain this long weekend it is probably a good idea to convey the 2013 rain out and reschedule policy to all of our new and returning players.

RAIN OUTS:

The league will endeavor to cancel games within 1.5 hours of regularly schedule games. Referees still reserve the right to cancel games at the field due to standing water, lighting or other unsafe conditions.
The league will email all team members in the event of a rain out and will also post rain outs on the website. All players should check the website before leaving to a game to ensure that the game is still on. The league accepts no responsibility for players who are not notified with regards to rain outs that do not have a valid or current email address on the site or those who fail to check the website.
The league will endeavor to reschedule games within 24 hours of a rain out.
All reschedules will take into consideration the team's original schedule requests, however teams must be ready to play after 72 hours of a rain out.
The league reserves the right to reschedule games at any time pending lack of available dates.

Players should also follow the PIT on Twitter to receive up-to-date rain out information. Find us on Twitter here: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/twitter-feed

TEAM RESCHEDULES:

Teams may reschedule any game during the season provided that they adhere to the following rules.
Reschedules can only be made by swapping games with other occupied time slots. All teams must agree to the swap and the league scheduler must be notified (at least 48 hours in advance) so that the website can be updated accordingly.
It is the team’s responsibility to arrange for reschedules. The league will only make changes to the schedule once all teams involved have verified agreement to said schedule change.
