The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its fifth season of outdoor summer football, and nineteenth to date! From our humble beginnings with 24 teams across 5 divisions, the PIT has become the fastest growing touch football league in Canada and the largest touch football league in Manitoba. In 2012 we had 81 teams across 10 divisions of skill. In 2013 we will be offering divisions of skill from elite to beginner and 12 divisions of skill for touch football. The PIT has also added two 8 on 8 limited contact flag divisions as well as two 5 on 5 non-contact flag divisions. As our membership has come to expect, the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!

Summer 2013 Season Information:
Season Starts: Saturday, May 12th (weather permitting)
Season Ends: Sunday, September 29th (weather permitting)

Hey guys,

do you plan on having games out at Adrenaline Adventures this year? i for one was looking forward to this last year, and if it is an option still i am even more for it now with the city screwing us over in fees and all that good stuff. I know the issues last year was that the field was not ready in time, or has the feedback you recieved been that this is something that is not that popular amongst the leagues members?

Hey Neil, we will be revisiting the idea of Adrenaline Adventures again this summer. Once the snow melts we will get a decent idea of how the field is shaping up. If anything we would be playing there towards the end of summer to give the grass some additional time to take seed.

A reminder that the Final day of registration for the 2013 Summer season is fast approaching (Thursday May 2nd). The PIT Crew invites captains to head down to Boston Pizza St.James location from 6:30pm to 10:00pm (690 St.James across from Polo Park). New teams are strongly encouraged to meet the PIT crew and discuss roster requirements before divisional alignment begins, in fact all team captains should note that the PIT's newest feature is a locked roster that can only accept additions by Jon or myself the moment registration ends May 2nd, so please have all player registered early. We will be Charging $1000 per addition for those captains too lazy to get this done before the deadline, due to the fact that adding players to nearly 100 would be tedious and time consuming!!!! We may negotiate the addition fee if caught in a charitable mood...

A huge thanks to Boston Pizza which is providing some truly excellent swag for all the captains who come down in person, regardless if you have used the convenient online payment option. All team captains who come down will receive a slice or two of pizza, and a beer. All captains in attendance will also receive a team pizza to be redeemed anytime during the PIT league's season.
Boston pizza has also renewed their Boston Brute player of the week award which will be awarded throughout the 2013 Summer season. you can view some past winners here:

Remember captains can always make payment earlier than the deadline. Cash, certified cheque and etransfer accepted. Here is the information where we can be found.

The PIT has now pushed past 100 teams for outdoor! The deadline for registration is this Thursday May 2nd. Team captains who are coming down to Boston Pizza to register must remember to have all registration money in a clearly marked envelope with the total amount, team name, and team captains name. Any cheques should also include team names. In return for helping us keep registration as organized as possible we will ply team captains with some complementary beers and pizza courtesy of the PIT Crew and Boston Pizza.

Anyone still looking for a team please contact us ASAP. We have a couple of teams in need of players as well as a free agent team that may run for the Summer season.

A reminder to all team captains that if you are coming down to BPs with registration using either cash or cheque, please make sure all information is in an envelop clearly indicating the amount, the team name, and the team captain. Etransfers are definitely the preferable method of payment however!

Etransfer is quick, easy, and secure. Click here for tutorial and information on how it works: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/team-registration
