Both new and existing teams should familiarize themselves with the rules. New information has been highlighted. Here are a few things to consider:
1. When assessing playoff eligibility it is the captains responsibility to ensure the game cards are correct. We will not go back and examine game cards as the website will be considered accurate. A player is required to have two games played to be eligible for playoffs, no exceptions. A player will only get credit if they are physically present at the game prior to half time. Four different teams ran into player eligibility issues in the Fall. Teams seem to email us very quickly if there is a statistic mistake, pay attention to the games played! This is in fact not a new rule, but is now highlighted in the rules section to avoid misinterpretation.
2. Referees will be requested to count players both at the beginning of the game and again at halftime to ensure players are in attendance for the games.
3. Team captains MUST have a valid phone number and email listed for contact information. Teams cannot complain about not getting information if their captain cannot provide valid contact information.
4. Playoff tie-breakers were updated to include unbalanced schedules.
5. Updated disciplinary information is also provided.
