The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its fourth season of Winter indoor football.
2009 was our first season of Winter indoor football and the PIT had 64 teams register. Since then the PIT has become the largest and fastest growing touch football league in Canada and will expand to over 100 teams for the Winter 2013 season! In 2013 we will be offering a record 19 divisions of skill from elite to beginner. In addition we will be bringing back both the coed and women’s division. As our membership has come to expect, the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!

Winter 2013 Indoor Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday, January 11th
Season Ends: Friday April 5th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays 10:15pm
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games; each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Noon Saturday January 5th (please keep in mind we will probably sell out well before that date!)
Cost: $670 (inclusive of GST and insurance)

The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash, certified cheque, and interac e-transfers accepted. Cheques are payable to Scott McArthur or Jon Franklin. New for Winter 2013:
Ladies you asked for you and you got it.
The PIT will be offering both a coed and women’s division for the Winter 2013 season. Depending on the interest these divisions could reoccur in future seasons of the PIT.
The coed teams and the ladies of the PIT will now be able to have the same game day experience as the rest of us.

Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! However, due to the limited supply of available fields we will be capping the number of teams in the Winter league. Although the registration deadline for the Winter season is Saturday January 5th, teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. The fall league has sold out each year since our first season and we will assuredly be sold out once again prior to the deadline date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.

A record 62 teams have already registered on the PIT site, meaning that over half of the slots for Winter are already spoken for after just two days! Seven coed teams also highlight the early registration demonstrating that there is definitely demand for the division. While technically the registration deadline for the Winter season is January 5th it looks like the league will sell out long before the final date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early based on demand. Don't get stuck playing Nerd Tron instead of participating in the biggest touch football season in PIT (and touch football) history.

Teams should get registered on the website and make arrangements to finalize payment.
