PIT TOUCH and FLAG FOOTBALL in WINNIPEG MANITOBA - FOOTBALL!

Congratulations to the Manitoba U-18 flag football team who just won the National Flag Tournament in Oakville Ontario last weekend. The U-18 team has three current PIT members: Cole Krisko, Carson Krisko, and Shawn Pachet all of the Snipers. The Manitoba team was also deftly coached by Roger Pachet the multiple PIT Champion QB of the Snipers. The Manitoba U-18 team went 8-0 including a crushing 39-0 victory over Ontario in the championship game. The flag team even challenged the Avengers to a game prior to their tournament victory as a tune up and definitely impressed with their speed and talent.

Not to be left out the Manitoba U-16 team finished second in their tournament bracket falling to Quebec in the championship game 39-32. Three more PIT alums were associated with the U-16 team. QB Drake Lesperance led the team to the championship final, while Brett Lesperance and Conner Lesperance coached them to the silver medal. All three players played Spring indoor for the free agent team and will be forces to be reckoned with in the PIT for years to come. Brett is also one of the guys responsible for yours truly beginning his touch football career some 20 years ago, and in a round about way responsible for the Avengers! Interesting how interconnected the football community is.
