Scott and I just returned from field lining optimist and the provincial playoffs for baseball are going on in the park. Please keep in mind two things:
1. Be very careful driving in the park, lots of young kids walking across the roads, drive slowly!
2. At the gate you will be asked to pay a $10 gate fee, simply (and politely) let the people at the gate know that you are playing touch football and are not there for the baseball playoffs. This will get you off the hook from the gate fee. Remember if you aren't polite they do have bats and we will let them know they are free to use them on you. We share the park with baseball (they technically own the park and can kick us out) so lets be cordial.

Once again, the baseball tournament will be running all weekend. Please indicate that you play within the PIT touch football league, and are there for a regular season league game.
Remember you always have a better chance of avoiding a gate fee if you are polite and indicate you have no interest in the baseball playoffs.
