As discussed in the "State of the Union Address" the PIT will be playing some games out of a new sportspark being built at Adrenaline Adventures, here is a brief overview of Adrenaline Adventures itself:
Adrenaline Adventures is a summer paradise located on Winnipeg's west Perimeter, offering the most unique activities in Manitoba and some activities not found elsewhere in Canada. Our two cable wakeboarding lakes let riders wakeboard while being pulled by an overhead cable system - it's a great way to learn the sport and offers amazing obstacles for pros. Our 5-storey tall climbing course allows you to climb any of our five walls, tackle two levels of challenges, and take a zipline ride back down to the bottom! Other summer activities include beach volleyball, xorbing (rolling down our hill while inside a gigantic plastic ball), and of course relaxing in our lounge and patio.
Of particular interest to PIT Players:
There will be three fields made available to the PIT as the primary tenant. The three fields will be crowned, regulation sized, no goal posts and we will be able to line the fields. The fields have been seeded and ideally by mid-July we will have fields to play on! Adrenaline Adventures will also feature an irrigation system that will be used to consistently water the fields so that they will not dry out in the hot summer months. There is also an onsite lounge for players to partake in a few beverages following games!
The clubhouse features a full-service restaurant and lounge, a huge 2nd level patio, and 6 big-screen TVs. Some of the park's amenities include:
2 men's and 2 women's showers
concession stand for refreshments and snacks
large boardroom with a projector
full restaurant menu (apps, entrees)
big lounge and patio (with tons of drink options)

Unfortunately due to the unseasonably wet weather in the Spring and early summer the grass seed at Adrenaline Adventures could not be put down in time for this season. As such the PIT will be having to switch some fields around for parts of July and August to compensate for the unexpected turn of events. With the PIT acquiring three new fields in the south (two at John Forsyth and one at HS Paul) the majority of games originally scheduled at Adrenaline Adventures will be moved to those three fields which should appease our south end players. The PIT is also working on a couple of more fields to help spread the games around and keep the fields in pristine condition.
We will be revisiting the possibility of working with Adrenaline Adventures next year. The PIT firmly believes that having a facility that would be football first, consistently watered/maintained, and where multiple games can be held simultaneously can only help grow the sport (not to mention having a great place for drinks to celebrate/drown sorrows after a game). The camaraderie that such a facility would offer would truly help make the best game day experience in touch football today even better.

The July games have already been updated, so feel free to update your schedules when you have a moment.
The August updates should be complete by Friday. I for one really wanted games played at Adrenaline Adventures with their first class clubhouse that overlooks the facility.
