The PIT hit 80 teams at registration last night a new record for men's touch football in Manitoba. The PIT is now the largest men's league in Western Canada and we will await registration out East to see if we can become the largest men's league in Canada.
A big thanks to all the team captains for collecting money and organizing the teams that helps make this league what it is. Also, props go out to Boston Pizza who put out an amazing spread for the league offering free pizza and beer to team captains. With all the great divisions, team parity, and great sponsorship this should go down as an epic year!
We hope all the team captains enjoyed themselves last night. The PIT is back to work, divisional set up tonight, Ref Clinic Part I Thursday, indoor playoffs Friday and Saturday, Ref Clinic Part II Sunday, field lining next week for the season, and somewhere in there we have to schedule 720 games!
