The PIT league wanted to remind all returning Summer season teams to register promptly, thus allowing eager teams and captains who are newcomers to the PIT to better grasp the quality of skill the PIT's divisions will be offering during the 2012 Summer season. The PIT league will gladly assist with divisional alignment for those who are unsure of their talent pool.

A record 46 teams have already signed up for the PIT outdoor league across the now 10 divisions of skill. 46 is the largest number of teams to sign up online in the first week in PIT history. At this point it looks like we will surpass the 70 teams that made the PIT their home for outdoor in 2011. Teams wanting to know more about the league or where they might fit in skill-wise should contact us and we would assist in divisional placement. We offer all divisions of skill from elite to beginner.

Ok I'm going to ask this now because someone will eventually... regarding the Waiver form... do I have to sign a Waiver form every year? Some people say no, some say yes. If i played in the PIT 2012 Indoor Season, I believe I don't have to sign a Waiver.

Jon/Scott/Board please clarify.

Good question. Each fall The PIT renews our insurance policy, thus the Fall season is the "NEW" beginning of the calendar year for insurance waiver forms. You can print your own using this link: http://www.pitfootball.com/league_files

You're all good Neal!!

Registration is officially one week away! Currently the PIT has 77 teams on the site. To help entice the last few teams out of the woodwork the PIT will be announcing some new fields over the next couple of days. The PIT will have a record 16 different field sites for the upcoming season half of which are in the North and half in the South.

With such abundance and diversity in fields we will be offering North and South end fields every day of the summer season, another first for touch football in Manitoba. As part of your scheduling request form your team can now ask to have the majority of your games situated in either the north or south ends of the city. All teams will be accommodated.

As usual the PIT will continue to offer complete field linings every three weeks for each of the fields in rotation at any given time. With the addition of the new fields and with the great response to our referee clinic the PIT growth rate is sustainable and we will continue to guarantee the best fields refereed by the most competent officiating crews.

Thanks for making the PIT THE DESTINATION for touch football in Manitoba. We hope to see you all out at Boston Pizza next Tuesday May 1st from 7:00pm to 10:00pm to sign up your teams, get your free drink, and enroll in our sponsorship program for free team jerseys!

Teams who have yet to sign up on the PIT website should do so soon to ensure the most competitive divisions possible. All skill levels from Elite to Recreational are still currently available.
