The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its third season of indoor spring football. Games will be played during primetime hours Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 7:30pm. The regular season will begin on Saturday March 31st and playoffs will conclude on Saturday May 5th. As our membership has come to expect, the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!
Spring 2012 Season Information:
Season Starts: Saturday, March 31st
Season Ends: Saturday, May 5th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays 7:30pm
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games, each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Saturday March 24th
Cost: $650 (inclusive of GST and insurance)
The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash, certified cheque, and interact e-transfers accepted. Cheques are payable to Scott McArthur or Jon Franklin. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! However, due to the limited supply of available primetime fields we will be capping the number of teams in the Spring league at just 36. Although the registration deadline for the Spring season is Saturday March 24th, teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. Teams should register well before that time as the league will almost assuredly by sold out prior to the deadline date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. The Winter season saw 106 teams register and we still turned away another 20 teams! Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.
