Braving the elements on Sunday the PIT Crew went out and put 40 yards of soil down on River Elm (the pictures will put that number in perspective!). In addition to the huge quantity of soil added between the hash marks, we also aerated, thatched, and seeded the field to ensure that River Elm would be in pristine shape come the start of the upcoming summer season. It was hard to argue with Scott when he remarked "Seriously, why would anyone play anywhere other than the PIT?"
Thanks to Derek, D, Harlo (of Larkin Landscaping and Excavating fame), and Angie for helping with work. Also, thanks to the newest PIT Crew member Scarlett Johansson. Scarlett told the PIT Crew she would text us a picture of her "assets" if we were able to move 40 yards of soil by the end of the day.
