For those new to the league, please check the website regularly to ensure that games are still on. We will post on the site if games are canceled as well as email all team members individually (that is why a valid email address is necessary!). The PIT has the best website in touch football, just one of the reasons is the ability to contact all players within seconds and keep you updated regarding rain outs. Games will be canceled in the event that there is standing water on the field or unsafe playing conditions. If there is no cancellation notice posted on the website teams must show up to the games. Remember that referees also have the prerogative to cancel games at the fields if they believe player safety or the fields are jeopardized by playing on them.
All rain outs will be rescheduled within 48 hours (but most likely the reschedules will be made the same day). Teams must be ready to play after 72 hours of a rain out. All rules for rain outs (and reschedules) are listed here: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/outdoor-rules-2011
Currently games are on for today. Little Mountain can handle lots of rain, but assessments will be made throughout the day for all fields.
