The initial pictures of Edward Shindleman Park have now been posted here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/376-edward-shindleman-may-2011

For those of you who haven't yet had the pleasure to play on Shindleman, it is a great new find for the PIT (one of the 8 new fields the PIT uncovered for the season). Lush grass, fully lined, no goal posts, no pesky retrieval of pads. Scott and I aerated, thatched, cut, fertilized, and lined the field to the PIT's exacting specifications.

We have also worked on Little Mountain and Lindsey Wilson (hopefully Scott doesn't turn pro after his lining job on Lindsey Wilson), more info to come!

Edward Shindleman Park was cut and fertilized on Saturday. Shindleman comes out of rotation this Friday and will be rested for a few weeks so that we do not inflict undue wear and tear on the fields. Here are a few pics of what the field is looking like currently and the work we put into it on Saturday http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/384-edward-shindleman-park-june-4th

We hope to add fertilization to our regimen of field "manicuring" moving forward as we continue to provide the best maintained fields in touch football today! Nomads field comes into play next week to replace Shindleman, we think teams will be very happy with the how that field is taking shape.

Edward Shindleman was cut and lined for round two of its usage for the season. The pics of our newest pièce de résistance can be found here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/394-edward-shindleman-park-july-2nd (cat in a bowl might also make an appearance!)

Shindleman Park was taken out of rotation for three weeks to allow the field to rest and recover from the previous usage. The PIT - the only league which rotates its fields to ensure the fields are in the best shape possible before they are put into the schedule.

The year-end grounds-keeping continued as your PIT Crew went to work aerating, thatching, and fertilizing Edward Shindleman Park. Edward Shindleman was a coup of a find last year when we introduced the field into regular rotation. We guarantee the field will be back better than ever for its second year of usage in the summer of 2012. Such foresight is just one of the reasons the PIT is the fastest growing touch football league in Canada and why it took us only three years to become the largest touch football league in Manitoba.

If you look closely you might find Thomas Steen and perhaps the greatest submission move in MMA history as part of our field lining efforts.

Shindleman Park was lined on the weekend in anticipation of the three week cycle of usage that started Monday. Here are a few pictures of the first lining for Shindleman Park for the Summer of 2012. Attention to detail, only in the PIT...

Edward Shindleman was lined Monday in preparation for its three week rotation. The field is looking quite good and players should be quite pleased with it. Here is some pictures of our handiwork: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/673-edward-shindleman-june-2014
