The PIT just signed on with the Nomads football club to use their practice field for games this season. Nomads field is the fifth new field that the PIT has added to the schedule this year (and 12th field in regular usage overall). Nomads field is a regulation sized field, with no goal posts - thus teams/refs do not have to pick up or return pads. Adjacent to the field is plenty of parking along Dufferin Avenue. The new location can be viewed here: http://www.pitfootball.com/locations Please keep in mind this is NOT the same field that we played at last year as the new field will be used in regular seasonal rotation!
The following is a list of the five new fields the PIT has uncovered in the last month alone:
1. Little Mountain Park - Northwest
2. Rods Field - St.James
3. Paddington Park - South End
4. Edward Shindleman Park - Tuxedo
5. Nomads Field - North End
The PIT continues to grow its stable of fields, despite the fact that (apparently) there are no fields to be had! Fields will be rotated throughout the season to ensure that all the PIT's fields are not destroyed by consistent usage. We now await decision on our final field negotiations, after which we can assign fields on a rotational basis for the duration of the season.
