The PIT is pleased to announce that we have re-upped with Maple Grove for the 2011. Some teams will be issued a player card which would allow access to the clubhouse for drinks after games. Only teams that play at Maple Grove on a regular basis (for example those with many Sunday south end games) will be issued player cards. No worries for those that play at Maple Grove intermittently with respect to entering the Park for games. Apparently this is a liquor commission thing since Maple Grove is registered as a "private club" with the LC. You shouldn't notice anything different, other than they are building a drainage ditch and resurfacing that road (FINALLY!).
The agreement between the PIT and Maple Grove will allows us to fill in a large portion of our schedule. We continue to wait on 3 more fields. Once we get word from those organizations we can get the full field allocations out on the website. The PIT has done all it can, just playing the waiting game right now (and yes we started this process LONG before the season was to start). Bureaucracy, got to love it.
