Details will be out shortly. We are currently working on expanding what is already the largest stable of fields in touch football as well as ironing out some details regarding field costs for the year. We will continue to try to keep our registration fees the lowest on a per game basis in touch football while providing all of the perks that only players in the PIT enjoy.
We will also be unveiling some additional capital expenditures which will make our fields even better than they were last year! The PIT will be expanding its arsenal of a trailer, lawn tractor, aerator, thatcher, and Winnipeg's only laser field liner in use for touch football. We do have some tentative start and end dates (remember tentative). Weather permitting we should be starting the season on Saturday May 14th (one week after the completion of the spring league) and will finish ideally around the October 1st-2nd (the following weekend is the long weekend and Nationals in Calgary). Start and end times may change depending on league size as we expect to continue our trend of record setting growth come summer!
To account for any potential growth we have recruited some new referees and will be expanding the number of divisions offered to include all levels of skill.
