The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its second season of indoor spring football. Games will be played at primetime on Saturdays starting at 8:30 pm. The season will be six weeks beginning Saturday April 2nd with championship games running Saturday May 7th (right before the start of outdoor!). Get the jump on the outdoor season and hit the field running, your competition won’t know what hit them! As always, the PIT will continue to offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in an environment that is both competitive and fun. Our mandate is to provide you with the best game day experience possible.
Spring 2011 Season Information:
Season Starts: Saturday April 2nd
Season Ends: Saturday May 7th
Game times: Saturdays starting at 8:30pm
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs
Registration Deadline: Saturday, March 26th midnight
Cost: $650 (inclusive of GST and insurance)
The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash or cheque accepted. Cheques are payable to Scott McArthur or Jon Franklin. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! Due to the limited supply of field time available we will be capping the number of teams in the Winter league at between 24 and 30 teams. The registration deadline is Saturday March 26th, however teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. In the winter session 21 teams were unfortunately turned away. The league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Registration has closed early the last two indoor seasons, so please keep that in mind.
All the customary PIT swag to the winners of each division – including each championship team member’s name engraved ‘Stanley Cup’ style on the nicest trophies in touch football today! Divisions will be aligned according to team calibre. Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested for the Spring league. If your team did not play in divisions 1-5 in the fall or winter, don’t worry we will find you suitable competition! Fourteen teams on the site thus far. I know that we say it every time, but in the end people miss out on the season. Get your payment in early! The only 365 day a year touch football league in the country!! Keep your stats organized in one league, choose the PIT! Best fields (the only league with a tractor aerator and thatcher), best refs, best stat records, best ref windups, best shwag, best competition. Spring league is up to 28 teams signed up on the site. The cap can be expanded up to 32, which would mean 4 more spots potentially remaining. We will be hard capped at 32, and as such teams are strongly encouraged to have their registration in early! Get the jump on the competition during prime time.
Anyone wanting to play but without a team, you can sign up as a free agent. Please contact us if you want any more information!

We have more teams than spots available. Get your payment in now or wait to play the Summer session!
PIT math. 35 teams registered on the site, 32 spots available in the session, 3 teams watching in the stands drinking ridiculously cheep drinks from the lounge!

35 teams registered on the site and 16 now paid, that leaves only 16 spots remaining. Registration deadline is Saturday with early payment strongly suggested to guarantee a spot in the Spring. New teams can still register on the site as we are accepting the first 16 paid teams, so if you register and pay before those already on the site you are in!
The free agent team is also looking for a few more players to round out the roster, so if you are an individual, or have a few buddies who want to play, but don't have a team, contact us as we will set you up!
