The PIT League is proud to announce the start of registration for the 2011 Winter season of indoor football. Players can register their teams beginning at midnight on December 1st. The PIT will continue to offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees, and swag in an environment that is both competitive and fun. Our mandate is to provide you with the best game day experience possible.

Winter 2011 Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday, January 14th
Season Ends: Saturday, March 26th
Game times: Fridays and Saturdays starting at 10:45pm
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs
Registration Deadline: Saturday, January 8th at midnight

Cost: $630 (inclusive of GST and insurance)
The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash or cheque accepted. Cheques are payable to Scott McArthur or Jon Franklin. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! Due to the limited supply of field time available we will be capping the number of teams in the Winter league at 88. The registration deadline is Saturday January 8th, however teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. Last season 12 teams were unfortunately turned away. The league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Registration has closed early the last two indoor seasons, so please keep that in mind.

All the customary PIT swag to the winners of each division – including each championship team member’s name engraved ‘Stanley Cup’ style on the nicest trophies in touch football today! Divisions will be aligned according to team calibre. Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested for the Winter league. The league will also open for the first time a Division 15 to accommodate our growing recreational divisions. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us.

29 teams signed up on the website within the first 24 hours of Winter Indoor registration, this is a new one day record for the PIT! The 29 teams account for one-third of all available spots in the indoor season. A big thanks to all the teams in the league for making us the biggest and best touch football league in Manitoba, and a reminder to all teams that we strongly encourage early registration. Don't get left out in the cold!

We have 80 teams now registered on the site, as of right now the league is capped out at 88. That's over 90% capacity already. We strongly encourage teams to register earlier rather than later.

Hi Everyone I just counted up the teams that are registered on our site, we are sitting at 90 teams!!! Don't be left out during the Winter session like 12 teams were for the Fall session. Please bring your cheque or cash as soon as possible during the next few weeks to the indoor facility. It would make things better for all parties (mostly Jon and myself) if we don't have to make arrangements outside of our typical football hours. I don't think anyone ever expected nearly 100 teams in a season. Clearly Winnipegers have passion for football, both indoor and outdoor. The PIT endeavors to be your only choice for football in Winnipeg.
