Amici's restaurant http://www.amiciwpg.com/ has signed on to sponsor the player of the month in the PIT. The winner of the Amici's player of the month will receive a $25 gift certificate to Winnipeg's finest Italian restaurant. The PIT will be giving away 2 gift certificates - a player of the month for Divisions 1-4 and a player of the month for Divisions 5-7.
The players of the month for May are Daniel Vincente from Deep Pockets and Martin Windus from No D. "Windy" is tied for the division 2 lead in picks with (5) and tied for 2nd in TD passes with eight. Windy has also lead No D to two come from behind one-point victories, including a drive that was won on the last play of the game. Here are highlights from those victories demonstrating Windy's prowess on both side of the ball.

Daniel on the other hand leads division 5 in both sacks (6) and points (31) and is second in interceptions (3). Daniel is one of the main reasons Deep Pockets has gotten off to a quick start and is currently undefeated in the division. Here is the "mulleted" Daniel in action. http://

Its been a long month of work for Scott and I so we are a bit behind on our player of the month picks! June picks are now up and next week we will have the July picks! Winner's receive an Amici's gift certificate for their stellar play.
From Divisions 1-4 the player of the month was Shawn Reyher of the Pylons. Shawn led the Pylons to an undefeated June going 5 and 0 while racking up 31 points and an interception in the process. The center play from Shawn is one of the reasons the Pylons offense have taken division 3 by storm this year. Shawn's play is steady not flashy, but he is quite a steal if you can get him on your team, not unlike this guy:

From Divisions 5-7 "Mr. Irrelevant" Neil McKernan gets the nod. Neil led Polk High to a 3-1 June throwing for 13 touchdowns and adding a sack along the way. Neil has also put up 12 points, 2 interceptions, and thrown 2 TD passes in division 1 play. Not bad for the last overall pick in the draft! Neil you can now add an Amici's gift certificate to your swag that includes a case of toilet paper. http://

From Divisions 1-4 Trevor Ouelette from Face Kick and the Akron Professionals gets the nod. Trevor is having a breakout season, currently second in Division 4 scoring and tied for first in picks. Trevor also entered the Division 1 draft league and his stock will be way up for next years draft as he leads the league in picks and is currently tied for 3rd in points. Trevor is one of the mild mannered players from Face Kick who I am sure have multiple spots in this Top 10:

Not to be outdone, Kyle Ashuk from the Warpigs stakes his claim as the player of the month from divisions 5-7. Kyle currently leads division 5 in points and tied for first in interceptions. No wonder Kyle has gotten the call from some higher division teams looking for his services. If the name doesn't proceed him, his mouth probably does - here is Kyle at his finest!
