Hi everyone,
The PIT is offering its annual referee clinic to its membership. If you are interested in reffing and making some cash over the summer here is your chance to get certified as a head linesmen or a back judge. The clinic is offered by Brad Kelm and Cliff Kitchen, two of Manitoba's most senior referees who regularly ref at the Tournament of Champions (Touch Football National Championships). They put on a great clinic last year for our new refs and we would expect the same this year.
Here are some of the details:
In class session: Thursday April 29th 6:30-9:30 Room 2L17 University of Winnipeg (refreshments served)
Practical (on field) session: Sunday May 2nd 1:00 University of Manitoba recreational fields
Instructors: Brad Kelm & Cliff Kitchen
Cost: Free
Even if you are not interested in reffing but would like to know more about the rules, this is a great opportunity to get up to speed on Touch Football.
