Presto Pizza has thrown their hat into the ring to add to the growing number of PIT sponsors. Trevor Smart of Presto Pizza and Street 204 Clothing and Apparel is providing an x-large two-topping pizza to one of the deserving MVPs that wasn't selected for our other awards on Friday or Saturday night. Presto Pizza is a favorite of the PIT crew who always order when we are having one of our poker death matches!

The first Presto Pizza award goes to the Doggs. Jeff Klumper of the Dogg Pound had 13 points in a narrow loss to the Bandits on Saturday night. The Bandits took a commanding lead early but Jeff and company stormed back only to see a last minute drive stall that could have potentially won the game. Jeff is known for his catches in traffic, here he is getting ready for the PIT: http://

Congrats to Jeff from the PIT Crew and Presto Pizza.

Starting off the first week of Presto Sponsorship with a bang as we have selected a second deserving MVP to get an x-large pizza from Presto Pizza. Melissa Denesiuk of the Chargers scored 3 TDs, 3 converts, and added two sacks as the Chargers continued their stellar play with a blanking of the Greedy Smurfs. Don't feel bad guys, Melissa is an ex-Manitoba track star and plays for the best woman's team in Western Canada. The Chargers are kinda a big deal and if you mess with them you might not only find yourself on the losing end of the game but you might also get "Wickenheisered" http://

Congrats to Melissa from the PIT Crew and Presto Pizza

Justin Hink of the Mustard Tigers and the Mexicans has won the Presto Pizza weekend MVP. Justin QB'd both of his teams to close victories: 28-25 over Air Patrol; and 21-8 over Show Us Your TDs. Justin's teams are undefeated thus far in the Winter, this after he brought home a championship with the Mustache Riders in the Fall. I am unsure if he is a multi-sport athlete like this guy: http:// but Justin certainly knows football!

Congrats to Justin from the PIT Crew.

Spencer Bourne of the Gators and Pack-Hers is the Presto Pizza Weekend MVP. Spencer had two sacks in the Gators-Clansman tilt which may have been the game of the weekend, and then subsequently followed that up with another 3 sacks and a convert for the Pack-Hers the next evening. Spencer is currently first in sacks in division 11 and second in sacks in division 12. If he keeps this up he could knock off one of these guys http:// to become one of the top Gators of all time!

Congrats to Spencer from the PIT Crew. Spencer will receive a free XL Pizza from Presto.

Tyrone Oakley is the Presto Pizza MVP for the last weekend in February. Tyrone threw 2 TD passes for the Screaming Ants in a narrow 3 point loss to the Bruns Broncos and added 3 sacks for Unforgiven in their victory over Cream Machine. Tyrone is one of the youngest players in the PIT and one of the few who both rushes and QBs! Youthful enthusiasm aside, Tyrone has been displaced as the youngest QB in the PIT by this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=hcL75LvK2Kk&feature=related

Congrats from the PIT

Jeff "Sal" Hull of the Sound and the Fury is this weeks Presto Pizza MVP. Sal's QB style is similar to this guys: http:// as he can throw and run with equal effectiveness. The Sound and the Fury lost a nail biter to the Max Cover Punt Beer Cats 20-18 on the weekend, with Sal contributing an interception to go along with 3 TD passes to Marc Hebert. For his efforts Sal will receive an X-Large 2 topping pizza from Presto.

Congrats from the PIT Crew

Ray St.Mars of Levels!/Hyenas is the Presto Pizza MVP of the weekend. For his efforts Ray will receive an x-large 2 topping pizza from Presto. Ray had 13 points and an INT in a playoff solidifying win over the Ratz on Friday and followed that up with 2 INTs in a hard fought defeat to the Terminators. Ray is building a "diversified portfolio" racking up statistics in the PIT, not unlike this guy: http://

Congrats from the PIT Crew

Mike Nelson of Cream Machine is the Presto Pizza Playoff MVP. Mike Nelson had two picks and the winning convert in overtime as Cream Machine edged Touchdown Frenzy 17-16. This was the longest game in PIT history as the covert round when 17 converts deep (yes seventeen!) before Mike Nelson caught the winning convert. TD Frenzy still had a chance to tie, but Mike Nelson also picked off their last effort. I am pretty sure we won't see another game go 17 converts in before deciding a victor but there have been some strange OT shootouts is recent history! http:// The game winner is my favorite shootout goal ever.

Congrats from the PIT Crew
