In order to provide the best game day experience to our players we are taking some time over the holidays to add some new menu options on our site. Check back frequently to see why we not only offer the best football but also the most informative website in touch football today.
The first new page is now up and running. We have a 'Statistical Leaders' link which documents the history of each division in the PIT, all of the statistical leaders for each season (scoring, TD passes, interceptions and sacks) as well as the all-time records for indoor and outdoor for the aforementioned categories. This link can be found here: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/statistical-leaders as well as under the 'Game Day Experience' heading on the Navigation toolbar.
Happy holidays

The PIT has now added a weather forecast to the website so that teams may check the weather and if games are canceled, moved or on schedule. Check out the link here: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/the-weather-machine or under the 'Game Information' heading on the Navigation toolbar. Thanks to Al Castell of the Micronauts for the suggestion.
Since we are playing indoor football at the moment the weather doesn't dictate play, so we will also be providing our players the first ever "Zombie Early Warning Detection System" or ZEWDS for short. ZEWDS is similar to the US Homeland Security Advisory only with cooler graphics. The ZEWDS system can be found on the same page as the weather. The PIT currently has two sentinel systems in place to ascertain whether armageddon is upon us, one located here in Winnipeg, the other is in operation in Switzerland by PIT alumnus Brant Cook who is currently on his roof top with a shotgun and a 60-day supply of delicious Klik.

The PIT has added the most comprehensive page linking touch football websites in Canada. You will not find a larger collection of touch football links anywhere. The page lists leagues by Province (West to East) and then alphabetically within the provinces. Check out what is going on in neighboring leagues and see how the other leagues stack up to the best! The link can be found here: http://www.pitfootball.com/menu/touch-football-links or under 'League Information' on the Navigation toolbar.
We still have some investigating to do, but as of right now it would appear that with the nearly 200 teams expected to play in the PIT in 2010 we would be the second largest touch football league in Canada!
