Tony Roma's is back on board to sponsor the Brad Kelm Warrior of the Week (WOW) award. This award (a $15 gift certificate) goes to a randomly selected MVP from Saturday night games in the PIT and can be redeemed at any Tony Roma's location in the city.
The first WOW award goes to Nic Demski of the Big Pooh's who threw for two TD passes and had two INTs in a losing cause to the Rhinos on our opening weekend. Hopefully that softens the sting of the loss! Gift certificates will be attached to the game cards of the next game involving the WOW.

Smurftastic!
Braden Hurl of the Greedy Smurfs is the Fall 2009 Indoor Warrior of Week 2. Braden had 18 points and a TD pass for the Smurfs who lost a back and forth affair to the Usual Suspects. Braden will recieve a $15 gift certificate to Tony Romas for his MVP efforts.

The Warrior of the Week goes Ballz Deep for Week 3.
Johnny Garcia of Ballz Deep scored a TD and added a sack (a tough task considering he had to deal Jason Gibbons one of the best running QBs in touch football) and as such won the $15 gift certificate to Tony Romas and his place in WOW history.

The Week 4 Warrior of the Week gets Facekicked.
Facekick's Trevor Ouelette had two picks to increase his division 4 lead in INTs, and added a score to move into a tie for second place in the division for points, all while leading Facekick to victory over Levels.
Trevor isn't all finesse, as he separated a shoulder a couple of weeks ago (which he popped back into place himself) and was involved in the defensive stop/TSN turning point in the Terminators/Hyena's game, while suffering a nasty concussion for his efforts. Hopefully the beer you will recieve from Tony Roma's will take the edge off the injuries.

No pain, no gain for MXC players!
Paul Szakacs of Most Extreme Elmination challange has won the Tony Romas Warrior of the Week. Paul led MXC to their first victory by throwing for two TDs and grabbing a pick against the previously undefeated Show us Your TDs (the team with the best logo in the PIT).

Jeremy Lomonaco of the Daisy Dukes is our 6th Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week. Jeremy had a pick and a score against the juggernaut Brewers on Saturday evening. The double D's are in a 3 way race for the final playoff spot which won't be decided until the last weekend of the season.
We have been filming the DD's all year and have put together another highlight compilation. Apologies for the terrible background music, it was a last minute editing job. However, watching the video on mute works just as well.

Marco Ferreira of Pick 6 is the latest Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week. Marco scored the winning point in overtime versus the River City Ninja Bombers in what turned out to be a defensive struggle in a low scoring game. Marco also scored a convert earlier in the game to keep the game tied.
Here is the winning convert conversion, seems to be some rusher interference on the play!
