Tony Roma's is now on board to sponsor the Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week. This award will be chosen by Brad Kelm who is reffing all of our games this year (yes all of them!). He will chose the player that best exemplifies the spirit of the game. So it may not be the player who has the most picks, TDs, or sacks, but the one who lays everything on the line for their team.
Tony Roma's will provide the Warrior of the Week a free rib or chicken wing dinner plus a pitcher of beer (you can't beat that!). In addition, all PIT league players will receive a discount card for 10% off appetizers to go along with those post-game beers.

The first ever Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week (WOW) award goes to Rob Chaput of Big Deal. His stellar play on the corner and timely pick for a touchdown turned the tide in the game and helped Big Deal to its first win of the year.
Congratulations for Rob Chaput who will receive a gift certificate compliments of Tony Romas!
The Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week award is chosen randomly from a list of all daily WOW winners as chosen by Brad Kelm.

The Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week award for week 2 goes to Greg Robinson of the Guild of Calamitous Intent. Greg was hung out to dry by his defense who couldn't figure out how to rush backfield often leaving him to rush one, two, or three people. In the end we figured Greg chased people for about 5000 yards that game.
Congratulations for Greg who will receive a gift certificate compliments of Tony Romas!

Patrick Gadsby of the Pylons is the week 3 warrior of the week. Patrick went for the trifecta scoring a TD, throwing for another and racking up two sacks in the process. Patrick will receive a gift certificate compliments of Tony Romas.

The week 4 Tony Roma's Warrior of the Week goes to Alfred Giesbrecht of the Ratz who consistenly moved the chains for the Ratz against Morningwood. Alfred's sure hands, rocket snaps and (according to teamates) bearer of some of the most fashionable shorts in touch football today make him the Warrior of the Week. Enjoy some ribs and beer on Tony Roma's for the good work!

Todd Rhoden of the Broncos is the Week 5 Warrior of the Week. Playing against doctors orders (take that Kanwal!) Todd iron-maned the Broncos game with a torn knee ligament. Todd registered two sacks and scored a touchdown (all on one leg) while leading the Broncos to a come-from-behind last minute 26-20 victory over the HoJo Express. It would appear that a Tony Roma's gift certifcate a day keeps the doctor away.

Justin Steeves of the Aints is the Week 6 Warrior of the Week. Justin threw for a couple of scores, had an interception and ran in a convert during a back an forth game with the Beer Belly Bastards. Justin will recieve a gift certificate to Tony Roma's for his efforts.

Mathew Blewett of the Rebels is the Week 7 Warrior of the week. Matty found the endzone, all the while playing with class and leadership last week. Matty will receive a gift certificate to Tony Roma's for his efforts.

Brad Sarna of the River City Hitmen gets the nod for Warrior of the week. Brad picked apart the Mwood Defence last week posting over fifty points. The River City team is leading division 2 due to a offence led by Brad and co. Brad will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's.

Mike Brownridge of the Aztecs is the Warrior of the week. Mike lead his Aztec team to a pair of victories last week, and has won 9 games in a row for the division leading Aztecs. Mike will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's.

Chris Lucas of So Smooth is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Chris was equally good on both sides of the ball last week, throwing for a few touchdowns and intercepting the ball twice during the So Smooth vs Ratz game. Chris will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's, and a Pizza from Presto.

Sean Cross of Weekend Warriors is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Sean had the rarest stat in touch football last week. Sean, while rushing picked a pass out of the air and ran for a touchdown. Sean added 4 sacks in this game vs the Hojo Express to solidify himself as the no brainer pick . Sean will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's, and a pizza from Presto.

Joel Bohemier of Big Deal is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Joel scored eighteen points and had a interception vs the Micronauts. Joel will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's and a pizza from Presto.

Todd Kauk of the Doggs is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Todd fought of Mike Brownridge in the final play of the game to catch the convert that gave the Doggs a 37-36 victory over the division leading Aztecs. Todd will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's and a value meal from Burger King.

Craig Keyser of the Broncos is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Craig threw for 5 touchdowns in a game vs the Pylons. The Broncos narrowly beat the Pylons due to Craig's accurate throws. Craig will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's and a value meal from Burger King.

Trevor Ouelette of the Guild of Calamitous intent is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Trevor kick started the offence while the game was tied with the Southside Trojans by intercepting a pass and taking it to the house for six points. The Guild never looked back after Trevor's pick, and won the crossover game. Trevor will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's a value meal from Burger King, and a pizza from Presto.

Damian McKenzie of the Micronauts is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Damian had the Trifecta during a game vs Big Deal, Damian had a touchdown, a sack, and an interception. Damian will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's a value meal from Burger King, and a pizza from Presto.

Patrick Allen of the River City Hitmen is the Warrior of the week in the PIT. Patrick threw for three touchdowns and the extra point in overtime to defeat NO D. Patrick will receive a gift certificate from Tony Roma's, a value meal from Burger King, and a pizza from Presto.
