The PIT league would like to announce that a free referee's clinic will be made available to all players in the PIT league and/or anyone interested in reffing in the PIT for the summer. The 'in-class' portion of the clinic will be held on Friday May 8th with the 'practical' on field training taking place on either Sunday May 10th or Monday May 11th. The referee's clinic will be taught by Brad Kelm and Cliff Kitchen.

Just a reminder that the referee's clinic is this Friday 6:00-10:00pm with the practical part taking place on Sunday at 6:30pm. We already have about 8 people signed up, if you are interested in making some money over the summer call for details.

We have 100% of our head ref slots filled for the year (yes the entire year!) and are just rounding out the back judge and head linesmen positions. A big shout out to our current crew of refs who have been even more generous with their time than we expected!

Another big shout out to Cliff Kitchen and Brad Kelm who put on a fantastic referees clinic. The animations, videos, and field diagrams made the clinic both enjoyable and informative (not sure where you found most of that stuff but it was great). The referee Budweiser commercials really set the tone for the evening (especially the beers at Earls following the clinic!).

Also thanks to our 8 new recruits to add to our growing list of referees. You were trained by the best! The refs list will go out tonight and we will update the league as to our referee situation once we get everyone's schedules. Only back judge and head linesman positions available as all of our head reffing slots have been filled for the entire season.
