In Elite, the Avengers 'avenged' their outdoor championship loss to the Assassins. Mike "PIT League Fastest Man" Luba led the scoring for the Avengers.

In Division 4: So Smooth rolled over a Ninjas team that was both injured and short staffed.

In Division 6: Facekick ran the gauntlet knocking off the first and second seeds on route to a thrilling one point victory over Levels!

In Division 7: The Bandits defeated the Titans in another close one. The Bandits rebounded from their OT loss to the Titans in the regular season to win by 4 points.

Good luck to the other 8 divisions which will be decided tonight in the PIT.

Here is a quick rundown of the championship games, congratulations to all teams who made it to their respective finals.

In Division 1: The Blazers held off a game Aztecs team who put up 39 points despite having a rash of injuries. What was left of the Aztecs team put up a valiant effort. The TSN turning point was Taylor Renaud's acrobatic hail mary catch to end the first half giving the Blazers the lead going into halftime.

In Division 2: In the game of the night, the Aaron Giesbrecht/Jamie Peters air assault was too much for Fubar. Fubar did have a chance to win on the last play of the game from the 5 yard line but Marc Jeanson's pass to Barry DeJaeger was broken up by ex-CFLer Blair Atkinson.

In Division 3: The Hyenas successfully defended their division 3 championship from the fall with a two score victory over Big Deal. Chris Krupa the nights MVP made a couple of great catches along with his teamate Ray St. Mars.

In Division 5: The Abusement Park also defended their title with a back and forth six point victory over Dogg Pound. 12 interceptions between the two teams kept the game low scoring and close throughout the duration of the game.

In Division 8: Dazed and Confused knocked off the upstart Beercats. The Beercats Cinderella run was halted by Jeremy Sabourin's 19 points and an interception. Paul Shawa kept the Beercats in the game with a TD to go along with 3 INTS. (Mike word of advice: get Sarah something nice for missing her birthday on Saturday!)

In Division 9: The Brewers (who had the largest fan contingent in PIT History) knocked off the Blue Balls. Cheered on by the crowd Nolan Colby, Jess Caparros, Jarrod Miller, and Derek Yuel all had TDs for the Brewers in Andrew Westwood's spread offense.

In Division 10: The Manwh0r3z became the first team scuttle the Boyd Barrett show. Jason Gibbons played a flawless game in leading the Manwh0r3z to victory. With 6 TD passes and 7 points Jason became a two-time Winter league champion (winning division 7 the previous night).

Lastly congratulations to the unstoppable Harlo Larkin. Harlo played on 6 teams over the first season of the PIT and won 6 championships (fall elite, fall division 1, fall division 2, winter elite, winter division 1, and the co-ed championship). Contact him next year if you want to be part of his amazing championship run (or need a PIT League championship t-shirt)!
