It has been an incredibly busy year for your PIT crew so we are a little late in getting out all of our 2022 Hall of Famers! More information to come regarding 2023 (with a unreal announcement forthcoming) including how we will begin to finally standardize the dates of our HOF extravaganza each year.
Our first inductee is in the current players category. To be considered for selection in the Player's Hall of Fame, a player must have led the league in one or more statistical categories on a minimum of ten different occasions. Those ten occasions may come from any division and include statistical leaders in both indoor and outdoor seasons. Players may also be considered if they have played a minimum of ten years of football (both inside and outside of the PIT) and have reached a level of success (as measured by sportsmanship, productivity, and perseverance) in lieu of leading the league in statistics in ten or more seasons. Players need not play on the same team for the duration of their statistical successes.
Congratulations to Jason Cassie, our resident highlander on becoming the 2022 inductee in the Current Players category. The current players nomination is just one of six possible entrance ways into the Hall of Fame. Jay began his career in the Canford league and that has culminated in a HOF career in the PIT! Check out just some of his highlights:

🔥 6-time divisional sack leader
🔥 5-time divisional scoring leader
🔥 4-time divisional interception leader

Jason is also one of only a handful of players who have lead a division in every statistical category, and the only one to do so multiple times.
