For coed, quarterbacks must be changed if a team is leading by 17 points any time of the game. Quarterbacks may reenter the game if the lead is cut to less than 17 points.
In any division, the starting quarterback cannot be replaced by a quarterback of higher calibre. Teams that necessitate a quarterback change with a quarterback on the team that may be of higher calibre (whether currently on the roster, or not) should first contact the league to discuss options. This is to ensure divisional parity is consistent.
