Congratulations to our 2022 u18 Provincial Boys Flag Football team who captured the Gold Medal at the Canadian National Tournament in Charlottetown PEI this past weekend! After starting the Tournament 0-2, the team dug deep and went 6-0 the rest of the way including avenging both losses to undefeated Nova Scotia in the semi-finals and Ontario in the championship game.
Lots of PIT Football, Football Manitoba and WHSFL experience in this crew. Our 5v5 flag program in Manitoba is second to none! In the last five u18 boys tournaments Manitoba has three gold medals and two bronze. 🏅 🏅 🏅 🥉🥉
The team was also coached by PIT Football alums Raza Butt and Jon Franklin.
The future remains bright for non-contact football in Manitoba!
