Hi everyone, it was quite the weekend for touch and flag football. The league had a record day of registration Friday and when all the smoke cleared we will end up with 26 divisions and 128 teams. We definitely appreciate our membership which is the best in recreational sports!
Here is a rundown of how divisions will work:
High School: All teams make playoffs
Three divisions of skill for playoffs
Coed: All teams make playoffs (note changes were made here to increase parity in the division)
Coed Div 1 - Assassins and Murder Hornets will play Division 1. There will be no crossovers with the rest of coed. Instead, these teams will play against men's teams during the regular season and split for playoffs. Assassins will play Division 8 men's; Murder Hornets Division 10 men's.
Coed Div 2 - Top four teams (excluding Assassins/Murder Hornets)
Coed Div 3 - Next four teams
Coed Div 4 - Next four teams
Coed Div 5 - Final two teams
Divisions 1 & 2: All teams make playoffs
Div 1 - Rebellion/Knights/Peg City - each team will play each other twice during the regular season and one crossover
Div 2 - Guild/Levels/Eric Dickerdsons - each team will play each other twice during the regular season and one crossover
Divisions 3 to 18: Top four teams make playoffs
Good luck to all teams this season. It has been two years since we had our last Winter indoor game. It feels great to return to the fields!
