Hi everyone,
The league has decided to postpone the season start date to January 28th. The new registration deadline is January 21st. In our survey, 56% of players were in favor of postponing the season. Our league motto has always been “for the players, by the players.” If there is an interruption which necessitates the cancelling of the season, teams will receive a full prorated amount of their registration. If the season is cancelled before the 28th, 100% of fees will be refunded.
***We don’t expect an interruption to the season based on current guidance from Manitoba Health.***
We understand that there are varied opinions on the issue currently and we always welcome feedback. Our priority is the health and safety of our membership, and felt the postponement was aligned with our league values.
We hope to see you all back on the field on the 28th! We had an amazing Fall season and hope that we can extend the fun, great plays, and comradery to our Winter season.
