It is that time of year again to pay homage to some of the touch football greats that have played in Manitoba. We have another stellar group of players and contributors as part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class!

Our next inductee for the 2020 HOF class is the Nomads who were one of the top teams in Manitoba for nearly two-decades!

Congratulations to the Nomads Football Club who was inducted into the 2020 Manitoba Touch Football Hall of Fame in the Team category.
"To be considered for selection in the Team Hall of Fame, a team must have won at minimum five Touch Football championships. Those five championships may come from any division and include championships from both indoor and outdoor seasons. Teams may also be considered if they have played a minimum of ten years of football (both inside and outside of the PIT) and have reached a level of success (as measured by sportsmanship, productivity, and perseverance) in lieu of five championship trophies. In some cases longstanding teams may change names over the course of their history, thus teams must demonstrate that the majority of players have successfully transitioned from one team to the next to be deemed eligible."

A few highlights from the Nomads franchise:

Over 25 years as a team
1-time Mazur Football League (MFL) champion
First team to win an indoor championship in Manitoba (and perhaps Canada!)
8-time PIT Football Champion
Multi-time finalist in the Regina Touch Football Tournament
