The "curse" is already rearing its ugly head in the playoffs! As teams cried to the heavens as to why they had to play teams that had defeated them during the regular season, the league knew that in a season that was a sprint to the finish, things would get shaken up during the playoffs when teams met for a second time around.
Division 3 top seed Law Firm -> eliminated by Hanging with Hernandez
Division 5 top seed and undefeated Blue Balls -> eliminated by Gamecocks
Division 6 top seed Down to Football -> eliminated by Gotham Knights
Division 7 top seed, undefeated Necessary Roughness, and their record-setting defense -> eliminated by Bullet Club
Division 10 top seed Suckskatchewan eliminated by the Free Agents (only their second win of the season).
Half the top seeds, including two of the four undefeated teams go down in flames during the semis. We will see how the other top seeds fare in the finals next weekend as they try to avoid the PIT "curse".
