The Football Manitoba Flag Football regular season has come to an end. Playoffs will begin Monday June 18th, culminating with the championships at IGF June 23rd. Below are the tiebreakers and the link to the final schedule. Ties were broken with the following tiebreaker format:

1. Head-to-head
2. Head-to-head points differential
3. Overall Points differential
If more than two teams were tied, once one team has broken the tie (won the top seed of the tied teams) the tiebreaker would revert back to step one between any remaining tied teams.

7/8 Year old Division:
Division A: Top three teams. The top seed receives a bye to the championship game, semis 2 vs 3.
Division B: Next four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3).
No tiebreakers required

9 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
No tiebreakers required

10 Year old Division:
Division A: Top five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Royals receive top seed by defeating North East Spares head-to-head
Charleswood Warries finish ahead of Mayhem due to their head-to-head victory
South Wpg Capitals finish ahead of Da Bears by virtue of their better plus/minus in head-to-head games

11 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division C: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Bomber Boys defeat Tuesday Night Tykes to take the top seed
Playmakers finish ahead of the Pickle Ricks by winning their head-to-head matchup

12 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division C: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division D: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Reid, Falcons, Playmakers all finished with identical records. Since all three teams had identical 1-1 records in head-to-head, points for/against in those head-to-head games were used. Playmakers grab the second seed (+13) (Falcons +1, Reid -8). Once the first tie was decided we revert back to the beginning of the tiebreaker scenarios and Reid take the third spot due to their head-to-head victory over Falcons.
Velvet Thunder and Outlaws did not play each other during the regular season, so Velvet Thunder receives the higher seed due to their better overall plus/minus.
Fort Garry Flyers and Bulldogs tied during the regular season, Fort Garry gets the higher seed due to their better overall plus/minus.

13 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division C: Next four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division D: Next four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Victor Mager BGCW takes the higher seed by defeating The Ringers head-to-head

14 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division C: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Magnum PI tops True Grit due to their better overall plus/minus in head-to-head games (+2 vs -2). Both teams had split their season series.

15 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next 2 teams. Seeds five vs six will receive an automatic bye to the finals.

16/17 Year old Division:
Division A: Top four teams (1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
Division B: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Division C: Next five teams (1 vs winner 4/5, 2 vs 3)
Ducks take the third seed by defeating The Usual Suspects during the regular season.
Gilbert Park BGCW take the higher seed by defeating Orange Peel during the regular season.

Should be a great week of playoffs, culminating in the championships at IGF on June 23rd!
