Hi everyone, kickoff weekend is now upon us and we hope that everyone has some great games and enjoys the beer gardens we have set up for you this weekend. Our new partners in Labatt and Maple Grove want to ensure you have the best experience in recreational sports. If we deem the beer gardens a success we will try to do more such events in the future.

Insurance Forms:
A reminder all players who did not play in the indoor seasons must fill out a waiver form which can be given to the officials. Waiver forms can be found here: http://pit.redzoneleagues.com/league_files Team captains print off a few extras because you know someone is going to forget theirs!

New Rules:
We will be cracking down of officials abuse this season. Yelling at the officials will result in an automatic flag. Please pass along this warning to your players so that they aren't costing your team yardage!

We will also be running both a sportsmanship and MVP award system this year. After each game teams will be asked to choose an MVP from the opposing team. Those MVPs will be used to select our player of the week awards. In addition, the player who accumulates the most MVPs will be awarded the overall league MVP (and receive some great prizes). Officials will also be on the look out for sportsmanship awards for those who demonstrate that winning is not paramount but how you play the game.

Finally, we will be instituting a rate the referee system which will be up and running next week. Team captains (and only team captains) will rate our officials electronically after their games. More information will be available shortly.
