Swiss Chalet is back sponsoring a player of the week award for the fall by offering an award to those who have some break out games during the season. Winners will enjoy a great meal courtesy of Swiss Chalet (valid at the Kenaston Location Only).
Hunter Lewis had a huge game in his first ever PIT Football contest registering five sacks and ten points (on a touchdown, convert and safety) for the Charleswood Chargers. Despite missing their second game Hunter is still third in the division 16 in sacks and 10th in scoring. Not a bad debut in the league. The Charleswood Chargers are another very young team and will be a force to contend with once they get the hang of the touch game.
Hunter specializes in a very radical version of football.

Nic Jessamine of the Outlaws had five interceptions and 13 points in the Outlaws first game (and first victory) putting him on pace for 25 interceptions on the season…which if he can keep up on the pace would be a new INT record. Nic could have had two more interceptions but a series of misfortunes on two plays kept him from an even more impressive night. After that night Nic is currently second in interceptions and tied for first in points in Division 14 proving that he is quite the double threat!
No yappin’ from Nic, just happenin’

Stuart Lyner has himself a day as he scores a touchdown, has three interceptions and threw for two touchdown passes for Team Blank. Team Blank moves to first in division 15 with a 2-1 record in large part to Stuart's play. Stuart sits second in the division in touchdown passes and first in interceptions demonstrating whether he is on offense of defense he is going to put up stats!

Andrew Ricard of Super Heroes in Training has a break out game with four touchdowns and four interceptions last weekend, and his team needed all of those points and turn overs as they narrowly defeated Sober Living 25-23. Another of our young teams that have a tonne of skill and will be the future of touch football if they keep playing together and learning the touch game.
Andrew is taking Division 9 by storm, leading the division in both points and interceptions. Lucky for him he has a nice set of meat hooks to use!

Congratulations to Justin Guillas of Illegal Contact for being named the Swiss Chalet Player of the Week! Justin recorded a TD and a convert in the win over Suckskatchewan 2 last weekend. He also took over as the divisional leader for interceptions after pulling down three picks. Justin's efforts kept Illegal Contact in the race for the final playoff spot in Div 20.
