For the old timers out there, one of touch football's best passers passed away last weekend at the age of 61. He was diagnosed last May with inoperable pancreatic Cancer. Bill Petrie played for the Furnaceman Flames, Santa Fe Express, southern Generals,,Steelers and Mustangs touch teams., in the late 70s and 80s.
In the early 80s he Quarterbacked thenSante Ge Express to a quarter final away from going to Touch Bowl. Troy Westwood got his start kicking footballs for that team.
Far too young to have left the planet. So throw a pass for him in your next game.
