The week 1 award winner is Terrell Okotcha from the RVC squad. The RVC team played the Slobberknockers in the season opener, with RVC coming off their Division 6 Championship during the Fall season. Moving to Division 3 didn't slow Terrell and company down a bit (The Divisional placement crew must know something...). Team RVC came out flying with deep pass plays accompanied by a few fortuitous tips ending in touchdowns. The RVC team took the game 32-8 with a touchdown and two interceptions by Terrell. The PIT crew sees many similarities between the high flying styles seen here.

However, spinning leg kicks are not allowed in the PIT!

Damian Bialkowski takes the Week 2 Friday night award. Damian lead the way on the D Experience coed squad quarterbacking his way to a season opener victory over the Road Rockets by a score of 30-25. D had 4 touchdown passes which was the difference in this divisional contest. Damian "The Weapon" Dialkowski hijacked their power!

"I NEED TO SPEAK TO CRERAR"
The week 3 recipient of the Friday player of the night award is Kelly Crerar playing on the Misery Squad. Kelly played an integral role defeating Division 7 rivals, the Barracudas. Kelly has a three touchdown night, scoring 18 points. A honourable mention goes out to Daryl Didyk with 5 TD's thrown in the game. The Misery sits tied for the Divisional lead at 2-0, which puts them in a great spot for the ever allusive playoff birth in the PIT League.

The week 4 recipient of the Friday player of the night award is Dave Misir playing on the CAP'N CRUNCH squad. Dave was quite the "Terminator" during this Divisional game. Dave lit up the scoreboard for 4 touchdowns, 24 points. The CAP'N CRUNCH squad moves to a 1-1 record and is currently in a three way tie for 2nd in Division 14.

Although he may not rewrite history, Dave may enter the PIT history books with more performances like that!

Dustin Kjartanson gets the nod for the Week 5 Friday player of the night award, January 31st. Dustin had a "Monster" of a night with 18 of the Wiserhood's 32 points which narrowly edged the Yolmes team who put up 27 of their own. Dustin added another 8 points and 2 sacks playing with Bro Code on the same night. Dustin spread fear in the hearts of those in Winnipeg that night, but won't quite take top billing with this other creature around.

Jermaine Lumsden takes the award for week six. Jermaine and his Rebel Scum squad took a narrow victory over The Sound.. with a 27-21 final in which Jermaine posted 20 points. It looks like it was quite the battle. The Rebel Scum is currently tied for second place in Division 15, and should be able to secure a playoff birth with an additional win over the last two regular season game.

Division 15 looks like it should shape up to quite the battle to reign supreme, similar to this guy.

Week 7's award provided by Boston Pizza will go to Ryan Lowen of The Avengers squad. Ryan had a epic game scoring 19 points vs Divisional rivals the Ninjas in Paris squad. When the dust settled, The Avengers took the game 26-25! The Avengers are currently in a 4 team deadlock for the 3rd spot in the Division 16 Playoff run. The PIT crew understands that this is the pump up video that was played prior to their victory and 1st win of the season...

Devano and Company on the Me, Chris, The other Chris... Team narrowly defeated Rebel Scum 25-24 in a Division 16 battle for a playoff birth. Devano had two touchdowns and a sack which earns him the Week 8 Player of the night award.

Alex Vitt gets the nod for the week 9 Player of the night award. Alex had a great game scoring 20 of the Monstars points. The Monstars squad took the Tribe by a score of 40-26. The Monstars are taking over the Pit League.

The PIT Crew was lead to believe that the March 7th Player of the night recipient, Jamie Michon used a jump rope to warm up before the Divisional battle which pitted his Hulkamania squad against 1 In the Pocket where Jamie had a game high of 18 points and 1 interception to help defeat 1 in the Pocket by a score of 31-7.

Paul Frias takes the Friday palayer of the night award for March 14. Paul and company injected "Venum" into the veins of the Beerhawks who succumbed to this poisonous attack during overtime during this highly contested Division 13 match. Paul threw for 4 touchdowns and made good on two additional points slung in overtime to edge the Beerhawks by a score of 28-27 for the Venum Squad.

This week's entry will be going to an entire team in which the PIT will be handing out a Boston Pizza gift certificate and other items in the PIT's coffers as a reward for going through the season without giving the PIT crew a hard time for making an error in the divisional placement. The Peppermint Hippo team requested to be placed within Division 3, but the PIT Crew decided they could compete in our very competitive Division 2. In retrospect they may have been better suited for the 4th Division. The PIT Crew endeavours to place teams in the appropriate skill level where they are likely to obtain a 2-3 or 3-2 record. Clearly the PIT crew made a rare error here.

Congrats to the Peppermint Hippo team for taking the March 21 Player"s" of the night award.
