Just For Looks has come aboard to the PIT's membership with some very practical Friday night player awards.
The Style fashionistas from JUST FOR LOOKS have graciously donated gift certificates to the PIT. These $20.00 certificates can be used for any hair service at the 1925 Ness avenue location (204)885-9518.

Nitan Arora takes the Just For Looks Friday night award for the opening weekend of Fall league play within the PIT. Kunit who is new to touch football and quarterbacking led the Bad Newz Kennels to their first win of the season in a extremely hard fought battle vs The Untouchables. Nitan had 2 TD passes and a timely interceptions to eclipse the Untouchables by a final score of 19-18.
The Bad Newz Kennels Rock, However do they Rock as much as these guys???

Shaun Jeffery of the BeerHawks has taken the Just For Looks Friday night award for the night of October 26th. Shaun had a very strong performance vs Group Hug in the Shower. Shaun accumulated 12 points and an interception in the BeerHawks 31-30 victory over the Group Hug squad. Shaun will receive a $20.00 gift certificate from Just For Looks, which can be used in the hair library, but never in the food library...

Marvin Quiambao was the Just For Looks player of the night for November 2nd. Marvin did his best to give the Cobra's a death sentence with his 20 points scored for his Punjabbawockeez squad, however the Cobras were able to literally one better him and teammates with a final score of 22-21 for the Cobras. Marvin will receive a gift certificate for $20.00 for services at Just For Looks.
After all, looks matter, especially if you have a Laser Cannon Death Sentence!!!

David Burdz and the rest of the Kick Butkus avoided "Hamburger Time" Friday November 9th while playing We are Marshall's Wife. David had one score (6 points) and an interception in the 13-12 victory last Friday. The game came down to a successful goal line stance where Kick Butkus prevailed. The game looked pretty exciting from the sidelines and I'm sure both teams enjoyed the battle. David Will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to be used at Just For Looks, located at 1925 Ness, 204-885-9518.

The Beast Mode team tried everything to "Destroy the Hurricane", or at least knock it off course! In the End Mike "Scrambles the Death Dealer" Buydens, led the Hurricanes to victory in a very Highly contested defensive Division 10 struggle. Mike threw for two touchdown in the 13-9 victory over Beast Mode. Mike has earned the Friday Player of the Night award which is a $20.00 Gift certificate provided by Just For Looks, which is located at 1925 Ness avenue. Resolute Men Chalk up their first win in the PIT league during a high scoring affair vs division rivals, Sacks N Racks on Stacks. The Resolute team out scored Sacks N Racks 25-20 and Ken Krahn earned the player of the night award with two touchdowns and an interception. The team just loved cats, errrr I mean earning their well deserved victory. I understand that the team was very emotional about the win, some say even more than when Debbie expresses her love for cats....

Last Friday Sean Morantz had a killer game for Da Beers, and they seem to be in a great position to make playoffs, although Division 8 has 3 teams tied for top spot with a 3-1 record. Sean and teammates are certainly "Preparing for Ultimate Flavor" if they are lucky and skilled enough to drink from the PIT championship cup! Sean had a stellar 18 points in the victory over the North End Moose Knuckles. Da Beers are Dying for a cup...

Shane Marmel is the Friday night recipient of the Just For Looks award. Shane had a huge game for the Deep Punts team, registering 9 sacks and a safety which is good for two points. The Deep punts team was able to secure top spot in Division 9 with a 32-6 victory over Team Smashmouth. Shane finished in top spot in the sacks category in division 9 and was the overall runner-up with his 19 sacks for the regular season.
