The Division 1 and Elite finals are kicking off tonight at East Side Eagles field. The new turf at East Side Eagles gives it the best playing surface in Winnipeg, anyone who has played there would agree.
Division 1 final: The Division leading Iced Earth are taking on the number 2 contender Guild of Calamitous Intent in game one. The Iced Earth team took the season series, but the Guild are the defending champions. Game time is 6:15PM.
Elite finals: National Champion Avengers are taking on the number two ranked Elite team in the province. The Avengers had a narrow margin of victory last time these teams played in Winnipeg, but those same Doggs defeated the Avengers earlier in league play. Both teams are headed out to the National championships to represent Winnipeg, and Manitoba.
All are invited out to watch these games tonight.

Massive power outages in East Kildonan causes the Elite final to be postponed, the Division 1 game was 34-20 for Iced Earth over the Guild of Calamitous Intent. The PIT will post when the Elite final will take place, I believe the captains are attempting to find a time that will accommodate both teams. The PIT will post the reschedule shortly.
