Hello players of the Pit... My boss is looking for donations any thing helps... below is a letter written by his family.
Dear Friends,
Our daughter Victoria is dealing with several challenges. She has an eating disorder, is bipolar and has some other illnesses as well. She has been getting help from her psychiatrist here in Winnipeg but she is not getting better. The doctor feels she needs to be in a residential treatment centre if she is to have any hope of breaking through. Unfortunately, there are none in Canada that are equipped to handle her unique needs. The only centre we have been able to find that can handle a multiple-diagnosis patient such as Victoria is based outside of Chicago. We've spoken to the centre, and they've accepted Victoria as a patient, but now we need to raise the funding. The average length of stay is 30 – 45 days, and the cost is US $995/ day. We are asking for your help in raising funds so that our daughter can go to receive the treatment she needs. Her condition is deteriorating rapidly, and so she needs this intervention as soon as possible.
