Congratulations to Pierre Feng of the Bullet Club who not only set a new Division 13 interception record but also tied the all-time pick record with an amazing 30 interceptions over the season. The record of 30 stood alone for only a single season as the original record was set just last year by Jordan Moore of the Law Firm.

Congrats Pierre on a great individual season which was capped off with a great team season when the Bullet Club captured their first outdoor title.

The Fall season saw some great individual play and some new records were built in which players in the Winter season will set their sights on! Sticking with the parity theme of the Fall season, there were only five divisional records set demonstrating how evenly matched teams and players were. Below is a list of our new divisional record holders:

COED COMPETITIVE DIVISION:
Points: Laurene Bachand, Flying Squirrels (103)

COED RECREATIONAL DIVISION:
Sacks: Mitchell Barrow, South Winnipeg Tiny People who can't play football good and want to learn other stuff too (8)

DIVISION 10:
Interceptions: Brett Preun, Average Sized Giants (13)

DIVISION 11:
TD Passes: Clint Wiebe, The VaudeVillians (24)

DIVISION 16:
Sacks: Kris Bulat, Suckskatewan 2 (16) tied divisional sack record

A special shout out to Laurene Bachand for her incredible season and to the ladies in the coed division overall. Female players accounted for four of the top seven scorers in the coed competitive division with another female player in the top four in the coed recreational division demonstrating that the best female players in the province are playing in the PIT!

All hail our new record holders! The statistical leaders can also be viewed in a more historical context here: http://pitfootball.com/menu/league-record-holders

Shout out to Nick Jessamine who also broke the Division 5 touchdown pass record, but was just bested by Eric Hladkyj. Rushers ruled the day this summer as half of the divisions sack records were bested. Of those rushes, three won their divisional championships, which goes to show that good rushers can make a team great!
